Welcome! I’m Andrew Hudson, the founder of, you’ve guessed it, Andrew Hudson Translations. I’m known for my reliability, quality of product, and prompt turnaround time. And of course, what I do, translating contracts and documents requiring certification from German to English.
Something you should know about me is that I LOVE the patterns language makes. Getting a grasp on the legal situation and what’s going on between the parties negotiating the deal, what they want and how to get it for them. That’s the starting point. And then capturing that with the right target language for readability and ease of understanding.
My strength is translating in a way that helps people understand what they’re about to sign.
I’m quite the contract nerd, having studied with the leading expert on contract drafting in the United States. I also have a Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance. The study of music is very similar to translating, but that’s a tale for another time!
